Sister Love (click for more info)

Sister Love is a project about loss, memories and Connection. The suicide of my only sister three years ago inspired me tot start the project. By searching for memories and a reconnection I try to find wholeness again. Mourning gave me the drive to enhence the process. Feeling cut off after losing a person close to me is in Sister Love mainly expressed in the way the pictures are framed. There is no recognition of a specific person but the images reveil a connection between the two figures. A part from one another remains in both. The pain and loneliness is emphasized by cutting, reveilling contact and similarities. The fragments from the past are combined with new images that associate to a memory.
